Vierbicher

Project Scope

Vierbicher

The Vierbicher team sought the assistance of Tony De Almeida and his team at AOI to explore options for their Reedsburg location. This was not their first collaboration, as Tony’s team had previously delivered a successful project for Vierbicher’s brand new space in downtown Milwaukee. The client’s team at Reedsburg had outgrown their space and were in need of new ideas.

Tony’s team at AOI, which included Nicole Wynkoop as the lead designer, Deidra White as the Project Coordinator, and from AIS, Brett Stortz as the Territory Manager, worked closely with Rob Cormier, the Project Manager, to engage with the client team consisting of the CEO, CTO, and CFO. The architect and general contractor were also involved in the project. The project teams collaborated in both virtual and on-site meetings, using a live design approach where the client was fully engaged in co-designing their space in a 3D environment.

One of the client’s top priorities was to ensure that the space reflected their values and local culture. The Reedsburg group works fully in the office and frequently collaborates with each other in person, so the space needed to facilitate open communication while also allowing for sufficient privacy for individuals to focus on their work. Additionally, the furniture design and finishes needed to embrace and complement the rich historic nature of the building.

Tony and his team worked closely with the client from the early stages of the project, exploring ways to maximize the available square footage, creating a cohesive design that aligned with the client’s brand, mission, and values, and incorporating elements of health and well-being such as ergonomic electric sit/stand desks, chairs, and other accessories. The result was another successful project completed on time and under budget.

The collaboration between Vierbicher and AOI was a true partnership, with both teams working hand in hand throughout the project. Tony and his team’s expertise in design and project management, combined with deep knowledge of furniture solutions and exceptional customer service, led to a successful outcome that exceeded the client’s expectations.

Tony and his team at AOI are proud to have been a part of this project and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional results for their clients in the future. The final design included 13 private offices, a reception station, 3 touch-down stations, 32 workstations split equally between 6×8 and 8×8, and a conference room. The panel heights were mid-height at 50 inches. The product specified was mainly from AIS with a few items from 9to5 Seating.

“Tony and Nicole were amazing to work with. They patiently listened to our ideas and worked hard to design a space that we are very proud of. Attention to detail and knowledge of their product lines was evident throughout our project, helping us to achieve all of our design goals. We also had budget numbers that we wanted to meet, and the team did a great job helping us design a functional, beautiful, well-thought-out space.” – Eric Lorenzen, CTO
